Blair DeMinico is the Legal Director of the Lee County Legal Aid Society. DeMinico joined the Lee County Legal Aid Society as a Staff Attorney in 2014. DeMinico was born in Nashville, Tennessee, grew up in Tampa, and later moved to Boca Raton, where she graduated High School. She attended college at the University of Miami where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a double major in Motion Picture Business and Art/Art History. Shortly after graduating from the University of Miami, DeMinico attended law school at Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. During law school, she studied Comparative Constitutional Law in Durham, England with the school’s summer abroad program.
Upon graduating Law School and becoming a member of the Florida Bar, DeMinico was employed as Associate Corporate Counsel for Big Apple Consulting in Longwood, Florida. In 2007, Ms. DeMinico transitioned from transactional law to litigation when she accepted a job as an Assistant Public Defender for the 9th Judicial Circuit in Orlando, Florida. DeMinico moved to the Fort Myers area in 2009 and began working as an Assistant Public Defender for the 20th Judicial Circuit.
DeMinico has 11 years of trial litigation experience and has represented hundreds of clients in court. DeMinico is committed to protecting the legal rights of her clients.
