Christopher Whitney grew up in Tampa, Florida. He was dual-enrolled in college while in his final year of high school, and attended the University of South Florida, where he received his degree in Political Science. He continued on to law school at the University of Florida, where he graduated with his law degree.
Christopher began practicing law in Fort Myers in 2004, as an assistant Public Defender. During his years there, he represented clients charged with a variety of crimes, from misdemeanor driving offenses to serious felonies, including capital murder cases. After over 7 years, Christopher opened up his own law practice, where he has been since.
Christopher has now expanded his practice beyond criminal defense, and includes family law matters such as divorce, child support, and adoption, as well as additional civil law matters.
