Dawn L. Drellos-Thompson, President, Esq.

Licenses: Dawn is a licensed attorney in Florida, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C., and a member of the Collier County Bar Association. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court-Eastern District of Wisconsin. In addition to her law license, Dawn is a Florida licensed Community Association Manager L.C.A.M., and serves as a board member and secretary for a condominium association.

Experience: She is a board member and legal counsel to Care Right, Inc., which serves clients and their families transitioning through the aging process. As a member of several family owned LLCs and counsel to several multi-million dollar businesses, she has a unique perspective on protecting and representing businesses. Her primary goal is to limit business liability so as to avoid costly and unpredictable litigation.

Education: Dawn has a law degree from Marquette University Law School, a Masters Degree in Science Management emphasizing organizational and business structure, and a Graduate Certificate in Mediation and Negotiations. The title of her graduate thesis is: Managing a Publicly Funded Program.

Boards/Memberships: She is a member of the Florida Bar’s Real Property Probate and Trust Law (RPPTL) and Employment Law Sections, the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Lee (County) Elder Abuse Prevention Program (LEAP), The Tiger Bay Club, Liberty First Network, Institute for Justice and the BNI-Edison’s Professional Group.

Community Volunteer: Volunteer and Pro Bono legal counsel on cases involving Sec. 1983, civil liberties and self-defense cases. She is a supporter and volunteer for the Children’s Home Society of Florida as well as various animal rescue groups.
